Kyoto trip, well planned
The Fushimi Inari sunrise walk alone was worth booking through them rather than doing it ourselves — we'd have slept in and missed the empty shrine. Minor hiccup with one transfer timing, sorted quickly.

I was impatient about the two rest days in Leh before we went anywhere, but our guide was right to insist. Nobody in our group got altitude sick, unlike two other groups we met at Pangong who'd rushed straight there.
